On Friday 24 March, Warden Hill took two teams to the B-Team Football Festival hosted at Charlton Kings Junior School and, in traditional style, we selected a year 6 team and a year 5 team.
Both teams battled hard and pushed themselves to the end of all 6 (yes, 6!) games that they played across the afternoon. There was a thrilling draw in the all-Warden Hill derby match too!
Both teams ended the festival on 13 points, putting them a respective joint second place in the final standings. Myself and Mr Antonious would like to commend the players on the attitude, determination and teamwork they demonstrated and we couldn’t have been happier with the spirit shown by everyone involved. It was a fantastic way to top off the week!
Once again, thank you for the support in enabling us to give our children these fantastic opportunities. We hope to see many of you at the cricket tournament in the summer term!
