School communication is changing

The communication system we were using for texts, emails & parents’ evening has doubled in cost; therefore we are using a new system from Monday 3rd December 2018.

The New system is called Groupcall Xpressions – it is accessible through an APP. Alongside the APP, you may also access your Xpressions messages/notifications online. 

WHAT WILL I USE Groupcall Xpressions FOR:

  • To receive all my text messages, emails, letters & newsletters
  • To give my permission for my child/ren to attend teacher lead clubs
  • To book my parents evening slot
  • To book seats for the Rec nativity & Y2 play
  • To give my permission for my child/ren to represent the school in competitions & events (e.g football match, annual infant concert, maths challenge, cricket festival)
  • To report my child/ren’s absence from school
  • To send a question to my child/ren’s teachers or the school office
  • To find useful website links

WHO CAN DOWNLOAD THE APP:

  • If you are registered with the school office as a child’s contact – a parent, a step parent, a grandparent, a carer or a child minder – you may download the APP and receive the school communication.
  • In order for your login to be successful, Miss Nelson must have your mobile number and your email address on the child’s records, registered under your name on the school data base system.
  • If your login is not successful, please email or telephone Miss Nelson.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD THE APP or see your messages ONLINE:

  • In your mobile phone APP store search ‘Groupcall Xpressions’
  • When you have activated your APP, and as long as you stay logged into the APP, you may also view your messages online. From your desktop click on this link: https://xpressions.groupcall.com/

WHAT DO I DO IF I CANNOT LOGIN:

Email or telephone Miss Nelson: 01242 523827 admin@wardenhill.gloucs.sch.uk
Your email address and telephone number will need to be double checked or amended within the school’s database.

WHAT DO I DO IF I CANNOT ACCESS the APP:

Please pop into the school office and speak directly to Miss Nelson.

WHAT DO I DO IF I AM NOT RECIEVEING Groupcall Xpressions NOTIFICATIONS:

  • If using a mobile APP: are you still logged into your account, if yes, please check your phone/tablet notification settings.
  • If using the desktop link: ensure you are still logged into both the APP & the web address, if you log out you will not receive your notifications.
