ESFA Girls’ Football Tournament
4 November 2022 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Games will be played 7-a-side and will be refereed by Cheltenham Town’s community refereeing team. There will be multiple schools competing at different locations across Cheltenham. It should be a fantastic opportunity for the team to expand their skills and experience some competitive football. As per the rules for all children in this age group, there is no deliberate heading allowed.
St James’ Primary will host our group containing three teams:
Group D: Warden Hill, Leckhampton, St James
The winners of these groups will then go on to play in the finals (hosted by St Marks). As with the Albert Dix tournament for boys, this ESFA Girls’ Football Tournament leads on to further competition for the overall winning team.
Required for the match:
- Water bottle and a snack to eat during the tournament (if you wish)
- Inhalers (if required)
- Boots if possible, as it will be played on the grass, otherwise trainers are fine.
- A warm jacket/tracksuit bottoms for in between games.
- I will provide the participants with Warden Hill football shirts, but please ensure they have appropriate footwear, shorts (dark) and socks.
- All players must wear shin pads.
