Year 1: Pittville Pump Room Visit

Letter to Parents

We will be going on a short coach tour of the town, to look at some other key buildings, before stopping at the Pump Rooms. We will look closely at the architecture of the building, and then go inside to see the interior as well as the source of the water. Unfortunately, we will not be able to taste the water this time as there is some work being done. Afterwards, the children will be given some time to play at the park there. The coach will collect us from the pump rooms and we will be back at school for lunch at the usual time.

Required on the day:

• Water bottle
• No snack needed (we will take the school fruit snacks with us)
• Suitable footwear for walking around (and playing on the park)
• Waterproof coat
• Sun hat and sun cream (depending on the weather)
• Small rucksack to carry their belongings in

Permission Details:

We confirm that school will cover the cost of the transport, however please make sure to provide your consent by ticking the appropriate box within ParentPay. Parental consent is necessary for your child to attend this trip off school’s premises.
