YEAR 6 PLAY

Dear Parents

The children have been working hard auditioning, rehearsing and learning their lines for this year’s Year 6 Play.
We have split the children into two casts and your child will already know which night(s) they perform as their main character:

Cast 1 – Tuesday 27th June 2023
Cast 2 – Thursday 29th June 2023

COSTUMES
You will already have been given letters relating the children’s costumes. Children can start bringing the costumes in from Monday 19th. All costumes need to be in school by Monday 26th ready for our first dress rehearsal.

TICKETS
We are delighted to give you the opportunity to see one of our most important events for the Year 6 children as tickets are now available!
As seating will be limited, admission will be strictly by ‘pre-purchased ticket’ only.
The price of a ticket is £5.00.
All money raised will be used to offset the cost of purchasing the play itself, performing licences, lighting and prop.
Without your contribution, events like this would not be able to happen. Thank you!

Initially, we will limit the number of tickets to 4 per child and they will be allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
It is likely that we will be able to increase the number of tickets available (given our new larger hall capacity), so please send in a written request to your child’s class teacher if you would like more tickets and we will let you know as soon as possible.

Please order your tickets via ParentPay. Tickets will be sent home with your child on Friday 23rd June.

PERFORMANCE NIGHT
Each performance will start at 7:00pm.
You can take your seat from 6:40pm.
During each performance, there will be a short interval where you will able to purchase ice creams.

Please note that every child needs to attend both nights, as we need them to form part of the chorus and sing the songs.
If they are performing as their main character, they need to arrive at 6:15pm.
If they are part of the chorus, they need to arrive at 6:40pm.

PANTASTIC – The Peter Pan Musical

It is perfect for any time of the school year and will capture the imagination of cast and audience alike with eleven unforgettable new songs and a brilliant, witty script.
