PARENT TICKETS
Tickets are available to collect from the office. (Please note the tickets have the original January date on them but are valid and will be accepted).
On arrival, to ensure there are no delays at the doors, Young Voices kindly ask that tickets are ready when reaching the door.
ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE DAY
The children will be leaving school at 11.00am ready to rehearse at 2.15pm. All children must bring two packed lunches (one for lunch and one for tea), as well as drinks (no fizzy drinks, cans, glass containers or items containing nuts please). Everything should be fitted into one smallish bag (preferably a backpack). There will not be an opportunity for the children to buy anything to eat or drink, so they must have enough for the whole day. Children are not to bring any electronic devices (including phones and cameras), in case of loss or breakage.
Doors will open at 6pm for the public. We recommend that you arrive as early as possible to allow for increased security at the entrance. The concert will start at 7pm, finishing at approximately 9.00pm. At the end of the show please make your way to the exits as soon as possible as the choirs will only be released when the concourse is clear.
As stated in a previous letter, all children will have to come back to school on the coach with us. As soon as the coach leaves the car park, we will send a text with an estimated time of arrival back at school. When the coach is back at school, any children whose parents are still on the way back from the concert will be looked after until collected.
Video equipment and SLR cameras with large removable lenses are strictly prohibited within the arena. Please note that you are allowed to take photographs, but please be respectful of those around you and be aware of our social media rules. The Young Voices team make every effort to place the audience where they have a view of the choir, however binoculars are always an asset.
Programmes will be available to purchase on the night. Warden Hill will be listed in the programme as a memento of the evening, along with lots of information and photographs of the artists, band, YV team and the songs being sung.

CLOTHING
On Thursday 19th May the children will need to wear uniform trousers or blue/black trousers or leggings (no jeans please) and either a Young Voices t-shirt or a plain white t-shirt. Young Voices t-shirt packs have already been distributed if ordered. The children will also need to wear their Warden Hill school jumper and bring a coat suitable for the weather. Please remember tiny torches and wrist bands that came as part of the t-shirt pack.
FOOD BANK
Every year the Young Voices collect food items for the charity FareShare. If you wish to take part, please could your child bring either a tin of food, dried pasta, rice, coffee and/or tea to donate. These will be collected when we arrive at the arena.
FRIDAY 20TH MAY
Children participating in the choir will be allowed to register at school by 10am on Friday 20th May. If your child is having a hot school lunch on the Friday, please could you pre-order the day before (Thursday 19th) via the xpressions app.
