SUMMARY:Reception Balanceability
DESCRIPTION:During the first week back after Easter\, all Reception children will be taking part in a Balanceability course run by Mr. Roberts. These sessions will take place every morning from Monday 13th to Friday 17th April. \nBalanceability focuses on developing core balance skills using brand-new balance bikes provided by the school. The course benefits all children\, including those who are already confident pedal‑bike riders! \nFor this week\, please ensure your child comes to school wearing PE kit and trainers each day. Please be aware that trainers may become scuffed during the sessions. \nWe encourage as many children as possible to bring their own bike helmet\, as it will fit them best and they will already be comfortable wearing it. However\, the school does have helmets available for any child who does not own one or forgets to bring it. \n

DESCRIPTION:School Sports Gloucestershire are running athletics club for years 1 & 2 on Fridays after school in the summer term. If you would like to sign up\, please visit our website ASAP to guarantee your space. We have a limited number of spaces available and these will be given on a first come\, first served basis. \nVisit: www.schoolsportsgloucestershire.co.uk/signup \nYears: 1 & 2\nDates: Fridays\, 17th April – 10th July (11 weeks\, no session 22nd May – coach annual leave and 29th May – half term).\nTime: 3.15pm – 4.15pm \nInfo:\nAthletics club will give a taster to athletic events\, including: sprinting\, relay\, hurdles\, standing long jump\, triple jump\, vortex throw\, shot put and discus. \nSign up:\nComplete the consent form online www.schoolsportsgloucestershire.co.uk/signup by Friday 10th April. Please note that places will be given on a first come\, first served basis. \nCost: £60.50 for the term. Payments now taken online with credit/debit cards. \nIf your child has special educational needs or has an EHCP\, please contact us before booking a place on the course to discuss their needs.
