She shared some of her novels with them and then we created a Key Stage 2 story with ideas suggested by the children. We ended up with a footballer who was sent to the jungle to fight in a war and who was being attacked by stray spiky footballs! At the end of the day\, Kirsty signed books for our children and chatted to them about their reading.
