On Friday 23rd February, our class put our Tudor houses on the school field. Later that day the class and 2T set fire to the houses. Just before, Miss Scarrett set up the camera to record our houses burning. Later again, Miss Barrett set the match and there was a little bit of fire and then a big bit of fire came after it. Suddenly there was a raging inferno that had embers sparkling. There were pieces of ash floating in the air. What a wonderful sight!

On Friday 23rd February, our class burned our Tudor houses on the field. We stood on the green and I had butterflies in my tummy. Then Miss Barrett straightened the houses up. After that, she lit the first flame. Then it started to make smoke. I felt scared and excited at the same time. Then I saw flowing ash on the ground. I got goose bumps! Miss Barrett made a fire break at the end but it didn’t stop the fire! The flames broke the houses. They got quicker and quicker. All of the houses turned into ash. There was smoke, fire and ash. The fire was ferocious. What an amazing experience!

On Friday 23rd February, our class burned our Tudor houses on the field. We made them for our homework project. Then 2B and 2T stood on the green and we lined our houses up on the field so that we were safe. I felt excited because I didn’t know what would happen next! Then Miss Barrett lit the match on the first house! Crackling and sizzling was very very worrying…but it was cool to watch! Ferocious flames were dancing from house to house taking over the field! When nearly half of the houses were burnt, our teacher put a fire break in but it didn’t work. At the last house, the fire wasn’t crazy anymore or massive. It was now small. Finally, the last house had burned and all that was left was burned cardboard and pieces of paper. It was a helpful experience to help us learn about the Great Fire!
