On Thursday 6 October we had our second house event of the year – House Football.
All children spent the morning competing in their year groups, developing their dribbling skills with Mr Roberts and their teachers, and scoring points that contributed to the final awarding of the house football trophy.
We were once again indebted to our fantastic house, vice and sports captains who supported in helping the children and counting the scores for their houses.
In the afternoon, the Year 5 and Year 6 children competed in the house football matches where boys and girls combined in a round-robin style tournament.
Churn won all 3 of their matches – with Faye and Ruben top-scoring – and combined with their second place from the morning skill games, they were our overall winners for house football followed closely by Windrush, Leach and Coln.
