Pupils’ Success

Josie Lloyd (6J) attended Western Counties Ski Club’s annual awards dinner recently. She was awarded a cup for “best mini”. She also received medals for her performance in slalom and giant slalom dry slope race over the summer.

Emma (4G) and Emilia (2S) recently participated in Gloucester Dance Festival. The festival is held during October half term. Children aged 5-18 can participate in a number of dance categories.

Emma performed five solos and did incredibly well: Character 1st, Global 1st, Ballet 1st, Tap 2nd, Modern 3rd.

Emilia joined two group dances and placed 2nd and 3rd.

Another signing for FGR

Violet Robinson has been offered a place for 2025-26 at the Emerging Talent Centre for girls’ football at Hartpury also with Forest Green Rovers. She will be playing for FGR U10 girls (as one of the youngest on her team). Recently the girls played a mixed mini tournament with the FGR boys academy, and Freddie was on Violet’s team! Violet was one of only 5 players to get a medal in both squads.

Congratulations to Freddie Wicks, who has signed a contract with Forest Green Rovers.
