Warden Hill’s School Council have had a busy start to the term! They were given a very special role in our Harvest Festival and performed a poem. They did so with enthusiasm and confidence! The infants coloured some super pictures to represent the words in the poem too.
More recently, they were given an important job to do by Mrs Flooks and the PTA. On November 5th, our school will be hosting a fireworks display and it is important to inform the local residents. School Council members delivered nearly 160 letters to neighbouring houses to let them know about the event. We were extremely proud of them as they were polite to the neighbours we spoke to and represented our school brilliantly.
Next half term is a busy one – from raising money for Children In Need to putting up Christmas trees.
We look forward to updating you on all the important work our School Council does for Warden Hill.
