The Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III will take place on Saturday 6 May 2023 at Westminster Abbey in London.
Warden Hill will commemorate this event on Friday 5th May.
So…what are Warden Hill children doing to celebrate this historic ceremony?
- We will be starting the day with a Whole School Assembly, marking this historic event.
- We will be having a celebratory lunch, in a decorated hall. For those children having hot meals, see the menu. For those children who bring a packed lunch into school, feel free to make this a ‘special’ lunch, remembering not to include any foods containing nuts.
- Children are invited to come into school wearing a combination of red, white and/or blue.
- The PTA, along with our young leaders of the school (the School Council) will be judging a competition, led by the PTA – ‘Design Your Own Garden‘.
Design a Garden TEMPLATE
Design a garden fit for royalty, to be in with a chance of winning a prize!
Please hand in your completed designs to your Teacher or TA by 12th May 2023 to enter the competition.
- We will be making a collective school card for His Royal Highness, which we plan to send to him, wishing him well in his reign.
