Year 1 thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Cotswold Wildlife Park. We had a busy day seeing so many different animals – some of our favourites were the enormous green anaconda, the elegant giraffes and the sunbathing meerkats!
All the children learnt about how some of the animals have adapted to their environments in a talk from one of the zookeepers there. We also got to have a ride on the train, going past the rhinos, zebras and camels.
The animals were fascinating but the real highlight of the trip was how brilliant the children were! We were so impressed with how sensible they were; every single child represented Warden Hill beautifully and this enabled us all to have a really wonderful day.
Well done to them all!
