10/10 for Warden Hill

On Wednesday, a team of Year 6 children went to Prestbury St Mary’s to compete in the Rotary Club Primary School Quiz. The children were tested across a range of rounds: science, geography, history, sport, maths, English grammar, pop culture and general knowledge.

Our team of Henry, Linkang, Josie and Holly did superbly well, scoring a perfect 10/10 in maths and sport and totalling 67.5/80 overall.

As a result, the team finished 1st! Well done team!

Why not test yourself on a few of the questions:

  • What are the names of the 2 different photoreceptor cells located in the retina?
  • What was the name of Henry VIII’s sixth and final wife?
  • Which of these field event equipment items is thrown the furthest: Shot, Discus, Hammer or Javelin?
  • What is the name of Elsa’s sister in Frozen?
