This Monday morning we enjoyed an impromptu celebration assembly – and there was a lot to celebrate! Firstly we celebrated our Gloucestershire Young Photographer winners across the school, who are invited to Wednesday’s presentation event at The Bacon Theatre. We then shared last term’s house event results: Miss Rand announced Coln as 2026 house netball champions, while Mr Bailey crowned Windrush as house orienteering winners. We then elected new house, vice and sports captains for this term; shared some individual success stories from Y6 children Farah and Millie (and Mr Antonious) who have raised thousands of pounds for Alzheimer’s and Bristol Children’s Hospital respectively; and championed a number of our Y4 and Y6 children representing Leckhampton Rovers teams who won sportsmanship awards in this year’s Cheltenham Youth Football League.
A wonderful way to start the week.
