We are delighted to announce that our pupils have the opportunity to take part in the Cheltenham Christmas Card Competition, organised by Max Wilkinson MP.
This is a particularly exciting opportunity for our school because last year, one of our very own pupils was the winner! Their beautiful and creative design was chosen to feature on the front of the Christmas card, which was sent to homes across the Cheltenham Parliamentary constituency. We would love to see another one of our talented pupils achieve the same this year!
The competition is open to pupils from primary schools across Cheltenham.
Theme: A fun and creative Christmas, with local Cheltenham themes strongly encouraged
COMPETITION GUIDELINES:
- Size: A4
- Orientation: Landscape
- Designs should be colourful, creative and Christmas-themed.
- Local Cheltenham landmarks, features or ideas are strongly encouraged.
- Please do not use: glitter, glue, cotton wool or stick-on items, as these do not reproduce well in print.
- The design must be the child’s original work – no photocopies.
- On the back of the design, please include:
- Child’s full name
- School name
- School year
- Child’s age
DEADLINE:
Entries must be submitted to school by Thursday 1st October (to the school office) so that they can be sent in time for the competition closing date of Friday 2 October 2026.
The winning design will be printed on the front of the Christmas card and delivered to homes throughout the Cheltenham Parliamentary constituency. The winner and selected runners-up will also receive a certificate and prize.
We are very proud of last year’s winner and would love to encourage as many of our children as possible to get involved again this year. This is a wonderful opportunity for pupils to let their creativity and imagination shine!
Please note that the winning child’s name will be included on the card and in publicity, so entries should only be submitted where parents/carers are happy for this to happen.
