The Junior and Infant Eco Warriors are excited to let you know that they will be holding a Preloved Halloween Costume and Props Sale on Tuesday 20th October from 3:15pm-3:45pm.
With the PTA Halloween Disco taking place on Thursday 22nd October, this is the perfect opportunity for children to pick up a fantastic costume, accessory or spooky prop before the big event. With all items priced between £1 and £3, it’s a great chance to grab a bargain while helping to reduce waste and support a more sustainable future.
By giving Halloween costumes and props a second life, we are supporting United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, encouraging us all to reuse and recycle items rather than buying new ones. Every costume reused means less waste going to landfill and fewer new resources being used.
We would be very grateful for donations of any clean, good-quality Halloween costumes or props that are no longer needed. Please send any donations into school ahead of the sale.
The Eco Warriors have chosen to donate all proceeds from the sale to the World Wildlife Fund, helping to support its important conservation work to protect snow leopards in the wild. This also supports United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 15: Life on Land, which focuses on protecting wildlife and conserving biodiversity.
