Theme: FACES AND PLACES
All pupils are invited to participate in the Cheltenham Young Artist 2027 competition.
COMPETITION RULES:
Each pupil can enter ONE art work, A4 in size on the theme ’FACES AND PLACES’
On the back, please print
Artwork Title, Pupil’s name and age
DEADLINE: Entries close on FRIDAY DECEMBER 11th 2026
Completed entries should be handed in to the school office.
The competition will culminate in 50 works from Primary and Secondary being framed and displayed in a public exhibition at the Gardens Gallery in Montpellier Gardens, Cheltenham over the weekend of January 23rd and 24th, 2027.
Exhibited young artists will be invited to an awards ceremony at the gallery on Sunday 24th January at 3pm. Each exhibited young artist will receive a certificate and awards will be announced with art prizes for commended and cash prizes for the top 3 in each section as chosen by the judges. Last year our youngest winner was just 5 years of age. There are also trophies for the Best School Entry in each category and a public choice.
