To celebrate this year’s Black History Month theme, “Honouring our Communities,” our School Council members have been sharing posters with their classes to celebrate the achievements of inspirational Black British figures throughout history.
The children chose remarkable individuals, including Marcus Rashford, Alice Dearing, Arthur Wharton, Lewis Hamilton and Harry Edward. They have enjoyed learning about the lasting legacies these individuals have made in Britain and how their achievements continue to inspire our communities today.
Thank you to our School Council members for your fantastic presentations across the school.
