Congratulations to all the children who took part in the cross‑country races this year. We’ve had our best results ever, with several pupils finishing in the top 30.
A special mention goes to one of our Year 5 girls – Thea Moores – who impressively won all four races and then went on to compete in the County run on Sunday 8th March, where she once again came in first. She will now be representing us at the Nationals later in the year. Amazing result – well done Thea!
I was incredibly proud of every single child who ran. They all crossed the finish line with huge smiles and showed fantastic determination, improving their positions week after week.
Thank you as well to all the parents for supporting both your children and the school – especially on those very wet race days.
