Reception Balanceability

Reception Balanceability Week!

Every morning this week (10th-14th Jun), all Reception children will engage in a Balanceability course run by Mr. Roberts. Balanceability involves core balance skills sessions on NEW balance bikes (provided by the school) and will improve all children’s skills, even if they are confident pedal bike riders already!

Reception children will need to wear PE kit and trainers all next week. Please note trainers may get scuffed.

We would advise that as many children as possible bring into school their own helmet, as this will fit perfectly and children will be used to wearing it. However we do have helmets for those who don’t own one or have forgotten it one day.

Finally, on Friday 14th September, children who own a bike without stabilisers can bring it in that day to use in the final session. We will have some pedal bikes available for children to try if they feel confident to have a go so it’s not a requirement for everyone.
