The School Nursing Service is offering a new style of supporting parents in the form of School Nursing Hubs. Parents who are referred to our service or who self-refer are invited to a group with other parents who have similar worries.
The group is facilitated by our Health and Wellbeing Assistants who are trained in the Solihull parenting approach and key public health topics, so will be able to offer professional support and advice. The Health and Wellbeing Assistant may know of a local organisation or voluntary group that may be of interest to the parent, so will signpost or refer them.
