Year 1 would like to announce the dates of Show and Tell:

Each week every child from one house will have the opportunity to show and talk about something special that they can bring in from home. (It should not be fragile or precious.)
We would like your child to be able to talk for up to a couple of minutes about their chosen object / memory etc. They can show it while talking, but should not read a prepared text. We are trying to encourage the development of their oracy skills (the ability to express oneself fluently and grammatically in speech). It would really help them to practice at home before the day.
At this stage Show and Tell is not compulsory.
