Warden Hill Primary School Cheltenham

Harvest Festival

On Thursday morning we celebrated our whole school Harvest Festival. We were led in celebration by our house captains and we were joined by two special guests: Roger Whyborn of the Lakeside Community Project who were enormously grateful for all of the donations of produce, and Reverend Lauren Gate who also shared a message of thanksgiving. All of the children joined in the singing of songs, some as a whole school, others in their key stages or year groups. On top of this, we had an acapella performance from the Young Voices choir and poems from the house captains and school council. We would like to thank you for your incredibly generous contributions: we know how much of a difference they will make to members of our local community who are in need at this time.

Below are photos and videos of the house captains accompanied by Roger and Rev Lauren with the amazing array of produce, Roger talking to the children about the good the food will do, our whole school song and the poem from the school council.
