On Friday 20th June, we had an exciting and action-packed Geography Day filled with learning, teamwork and fun! Pupils across the school got stuck into a range of activities that brought the world around us to life.
Each year group explored an important geographical issue affecting our planet today — from climate change and deforestation to coastal flooding and plastic pollution. Everyone showed fantastic curiosity and care for the world we live in.
Year 4 looked at the Vaal River in South Africa and the issues with pollution. A world goal is for everyone to have clean water and good sanitation.
Pupils had a go at cleaning some dirty water ‘sewage soup’ using sieving and filtering.
