On Wednesday, we were very lucky to welcome Clare Hammond, an internationally recognised pianist, to our school to perform for our Reception and Key Stage 1 children.
Clare treated us to a wonderful selection of music from a variety of styles and composers. The children were captivated by her stories about the pieces and loved listening out for the different characters and moods within the music. They also thoroughly enjoyed having the opportunity to ask Clare questions at the end of the performance.
It was a truly special musical experience, and we would like to thank Clare for sharing her talent with us!
