We are excited to invite children in Years 1–6 to stand for their class’s Reading Ambassador position for the Autumn Term. Each class will have one pupil serving as a Reading Ambassador for the term, chosen by their class teacher based on their enthusiasm and passion for reading.

Your child will only be able to stand once for this role across Years 1–2, Years 3–4 and Years 5–6. Therefore, if your child is in Year 2, Year 4 or Year 6 and was chosen to be a Reading Ambassador last year, they will not be able to stand again for this role this academic year.
If your child would like to apply, they should write a letter or create a poster explaining why they would make an excellent Reading Ambassador. This should be handed to their class teacher by Friday 25th September.
Teachers will then select a pupil who they feel will excel in the role.
