Welcome to the 2026 Gloucestershire Young Photographer of the Year Competition. Once again, it will be by online entry only.
Any pupil may enter one digital image, on any subject, in colour or monochrome. Please submit the entry via email to admin@wardenhill.gloucs.sch.uk before 29 March 2026
Make sure to include:
- Name of pupil (in full)
- Title of image
Cash prizes of £75, £50, and £25 will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd placed photographs respectively, in each of the Primary and Secondary categories.
Other photographs may receive Highly Commended and Commended Certificates. Trophies will be awarded to the Primary and Secondary Schools with the best overall entries.
This year we are delighted to announce a new venue for our exciting Awards Evening – The Bacon Theatre, Cheltenham. The venue provides a great film screen and high quality projection for the selected work. Award winners will be invited to the event on Wednesday 29th April at 6pm.
