Last week, our school had the privilege of welcoming Thomas Taylor, the brilliant author of the Eerie-on-Sea series. Key Stage 2 pupils were captivated during an assembly where Thomas shared the fascinating journey behind his first book, Malamander. Year 5 then enjoyed two unforgettable creative writing workshops, guided by Thomas himself. It was a day that sparked imagination, nurtured storytelling skills, and reminded us all of the power of reading to open new worlds. Experiences like this are what make learning magical!
