Pudsey Day Review

We were delighted to have celebrated Children in Need Day on Friday 14th November.

Children came to school wearing something spotty or yellow.
Each class took on a special challenge linked to the theme “Challenge Yourself to 25”. After discussing their ideas together, classes chose and completed a challenge on the day. We were very impressed by the effort, creativity and positivity shown by all the children.

Here were the class challenges:
• Reception – 25 Spot Challenge
• Year 1 – 25 Minutes of Singing
• Year 2 – 25-Minute Danceathon
• Year 3 – 25-Minute Danceathon
• Year 4 – 25 Minutes of Just Dance
• Year 5 – 25 Minutes of Their Chosen Challenge
• Year 6 – 25-Question Countdown Music Quiz

Thank you for all the generous donations in support of the important work Children in Need does across the UK. We have raised £692!

Mrs Catchpole Takes On 3C’s ‘Challenge 25’!

As part of this year’s Children in Need Challenge 25, Class 3C set a very special task for Mrs Catchpole: to stay completely silent for 25 whole minutes. At first, no one was quite sure she’d manage it — after all, she’s known for her lively classroom conversations!
But to everyone’s amazement, Mrs Catchpole rose to the challenge with determination and a huge smile. The class watched the clock closely as she communicated only through gestures and expressions, all in support of a fantastic cause.
When the timer finally rang, the room erupted in cheers. Mrs Catchpole had done it! Her successful silence not only delighted the children but also helped raise awareness for Children in Need. Well done, Mrs Catchpole — and well done, 3C, for setting such a brilliant challenge!
