Linkang (6W) has participated in the Piano competition in the Cheltenham Festival of Performing Arts, and won the trophy for the under 11 class. He also got a 3rd place for the under 13 class.
Olivia (5H) took part in the Cheltenham Festival of Performing Arts. She won a bronze medal in U11 Piano Solo category. Well done!
Emily (3G) has recently obtained her Grade 1 Ballet and Grade 1 Modern Dance certificates, and participated in four group dances in the Cheltenham Festival of Performing Arts.
Her team scored 3 first places and one third place in the under 10s ballet, classical and modern sections. They’ve all worked so hard over the past year and had a fabulous time performing.
Olivia’s artwork, Brushing Teeth, has been selected for the Young Artists’ Summer Show 2026, and will be included in both the online exhibition and the display this summer at the Royal Academy of Arts in London.
‘Snails have their teeth on their tongues, and they can have thousands of them. This made me wonder what it would be like for them to brush their teeth — it must be quite tiring!’
Emma (4G) and Emilia (2S) recently participated in Gloucester Dance Festival. The festival is held during October half term. Children aged 5-18 can participate in a number of dance categories.
Emma performed five solos and did incredibly well: Character 1st, Global 1st, Ballet 1st, Tap 2nd, Modern 3rd.
Emilia joined two group dances and placed 2nd and 3rd.
Another signing for FGR
Violet Robinson has been offered a place for 2025-26 at the Emerging Talent Centre for girls’ football at Hartpury also with Forest Green Rovers. She will be playing for FGR U10 girls (as one of the youngest on her team). Recently the girls played a mixed mini tournament with the FGR boys academy, and Freddie was on Violet’s team! Violet was one of only 5 players to get a medal in both squads.
Congratulations to Freddie Wicks, who has signed a contract with Forest Green Rovers.
